We talked to our various PanAmerican Seed regional teams around the world and asked them: What’s your new favourite product for 2026? Or the one product that you feel will impact your customers the most? Here’s what they had to say:
NORTH AMERICA
Mark Gross, Account Manager, North America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand
Zinnias are very popular in all three markets and this new segregating mix will be very popular. It’s unique mix of colours will work well in all three markets, especially in the US and Australia. It’s the first time we’ve offered a Zinnia elegans to my customers in the US, so that makes it even more unique and popular!
Dylan Sedmak, Account Manager, Midwest & Great Lakes, United States
My favourite new product for 2026 is definitely our Green Lightning™ Summer Squash. It’s a patty pan-type squash with super unique light and dark green striping that looks great on the grill, plate and even on the doorstep as an ornamental if you let the fruit get large enough. As a summer squash it’s also super quick to harvest – just 40 days from sowing the seed. We’ve already had some customers and reps mention this summer just how prolific and cool of a variety it’s been at their homes. And last but not least, it is a recent All-America Selections Winner, so it’s been through the ringer.
Saima Husain, Account Manager, Southeast, United States
My favourite product is Sunflower Always Sunny Gold! (New for 2027) It is super exciting because PanAmerican Seed has entered a new class. It is our first landscape-type sunflower. It’s bright, dependable and keeps shining in the garden. It has more longevity than the competition, naturally more compact and has gold-yellow flowers that are pollen free. So, no mess. The best part is that even without pollen it is a fantastic pollinator plant. For the grower, it is easier to manage and looks great at retail.

EUROPE & AFRICA
Sjaak Ros, Former Area Manager, Israel, Turkey, South Africa
My favourite new variety for 2026 is Impatiens Beacon® Blue Pearl. The reason I am really excited is that no doubt Blue Pearl is/was the most wanted single colour from our Impatiens Beacon series. Like all Beacons, it can be easily incorporated by growers in their production planning while landscapers/gardeners/consumers are raving about the season-long stunning blue colour.
Beacon Impatiens are very versatile as they can be grown for packs, pots, hanging baskets and in-ground beds (in the shade, too!). On top of that, this vibrant Blue Pearl is a unique colour as it is only available in the Beacon series! Needless to say that Blue Pearl will wow the whole chain …from us to the consumer!

Sylvia Rocheteau, Area Manager, South Europe
First choice is Impatiens Solarscape® Salmon Punch! Why? I love Impatiens Solarscape as it brings a flexible option from seed to growers. Salmon Punch is a nice additional colour to this resilient Impatiens, with tropical appeal and excellent garden performances with low maintenance, from shady to full-sun exposure.
I also recommend two more options: Second choice is Pansy Top Wave. It’s an amazing series with already 8 colours, including unique colours for trailing pansy, like Orange. I love it since it’s the largest flower size on the market for trailing pansy. Also, its mounded habit makes the plant very attractive at point of sale.
And third choice is Petunia Easy Wave® Pink Pearl, which is a great addition to the top performer Easy Wave Petunia! The soft pink colour is brightened by the purple/rose vein and is not paling under summer conditions. I’ve mixed it at home with Dichondra Silver Falls and new Shock Wave Rose Vein, and I love the result!

LATIN AMERICA
Camilo Cano, Regional Account Manager
My favourite product for 2026 will definitely be the Campanula Campana Pink Improved. I believe it will have a huge impact in the cut flower division.

EURASIA
Hussam Naser Eddin, Area Manager, Middle East and Pakistan
My preferred product is the new African Marigold Lanna Lace (New for 2027). The African Marigold Lanna Lace is one of the varieties well-suited to hot regions such as the Middle East. Currently, it is only available in orange, yellow, and golden colours; the white colour will be interesting for our customers.
Pavel Koltsov, Area Manager, Russia and FSU countries
That's easy! Definitely Spreading Petunia Easy Wave Pink Pearl
ASIA PACIFIC
Tracy Chang, Area Manager, China and Southeast Asia
My favourite is Petunia Easy Wave Pink Pearl. This is a very exciting new colour, especially when it was launched during the 30th anniversary of the Wave brand, which gives it even more significance. We showcased it at the Ball City Trial this spring, and both customers and consumers were very fond of it for the following reasons:
1. E-commerce in China is developing rapidly, and people there particularly favour light-coloured flowers because they look very romantic and attractive in front of the camera. The colour of Pink Pearl is very charming and has a romantic feel.
2. Pink Pearl has an excellent combination effect and looks great when paired with other colours.
3. The flowers of Pink Pearl are particularly large. Like Pink Passion, its resistance is relatively strong. This provides another new option for spring city containers applications!
Kevin Sun, Area Manager, South Korea and Taiwan
My new favourite products for 2026 are Impatiens Beacon Blue Pearl, for its vibrant colour, and Squash Green Lighting, for its unique fruit colouration. The product I believe will have the most impact on my customers is Impatiens Beacon Light Pink. This is the colour of impatiens that my customers in Korea and Taiwan have been waiting for years.
