Impatiens downy mildew has occurred widely across China in recent years. Beacon Impatiens was tested for disease resistance and landscape performance in the Guangzhou region, which under current climatic conditions are highly conducive to disease outbreaks. The results were a success under such local conditions, characterized by high humidity and moderate temperatures.

Beacon Impatiens was then selected for large-scale planting in this year’s flagship landscaping project. The vibrant, festive landscape really showcased how Beacon Impatiens elevate large-scale plantings while reducing the risks associated with Impatiens downy mildew.
