Cultivate'25 Recap: Intern Perspective

With over 10,000 visitors and 650 different companies representing the green industry, Cultivate’25 was a win! It was a busy few days getting the PanAmerican Seed Booth ready for the show that ran from July 13-15, 2025.

PanAmerican Seed booth decorated with colourful flowers

Our booth highlighted three PanAmerican Seed brands: Beacon® Impatiens, Wave® Petunias and Kitchen Minis™ Vegetables. The booth, which invited visitors to celebrate Wave’s 30th anniversary, was complete with balloons and petunias for a stunning photo op. We showed Colombus, Ohio, United States, how to party the PanAmerican Seed way!

The Beacon Impatiens side of the booth had our two new colours front and center. The showcase was fitted with vibrant stripes that ran from the wall to the floor and highlighted our new Beacon Light Pink and Blue Pearl varieties.

The spotlight on the Beacon side of the booth was on the two charities we paired with for 2025, esp, inc. and Greenfingers Charity. esp, inc. offers transformative experiences for people with disabilities and their families. Greenfingers is a charity that provides terminally ill children with the ability to experience the healing qualities of green spaces and the outdoors.

The Wave side of the booth was all about celebrating 30 years of vibrant colour and highlighted three new colours and two mixes to brighten up gardens. Easy Wave® Pink Pearl stole the show with its soft, violet rose-veined petals and was the inspiration behind our party-themed booth. Customers were invited to celebrate Wave with a photo op complete with balloons and our stunning Pink Pearl Petunias.

We showcased two more colours from our E3 Easy Wave® and Shock Wave® line of petunias. Shock Wave Red Improved features added cold durability and is the stunning red addition to our new Shock Wave Volt Mix Improved, which features red, white, and deep blue varieties. Our E3 Easy Wave line was also featured with the new Déjà Vu Mix, which is a combo of E3 Easy Wave varieties: Blue, White and future introduction Midnight Marble. This mix has tie-dyed-patterned petals and a tidy plant structure that is sure to brighten up your landscape.

The Kitchen Minis side of the booth looked like it was taken straight from your own kitchen, fit with cabinets, a refrigerator, and our stunning line of vegetables that can all be grown indoors. The quick-growing and fine-leafed Bonsai Basil was a crowd favourite! In case you missed the show, we have a virtual tour of the PanAmerican Seed booth that can be found here. You’ll be able to tour the booth, see our new colour spotlights and access our catalogues and brochures virtually!
