FlowerTrials 2025 is a wrap

Over 5,000 visitors from 90 countries attended the four-day event. For Panamerican Seed® it was the year we chose to show our 4 focus products in a museum like style. For 2025 our 4 focus products, Pansy Top Wave®, Interspecific Impatiens Solarscape®, Petchoa Caliburst™ and Vinca Titan-ium™ we created a little gallery and placed the plants in front of beautiful close-up artworks, showing every little detail of these plants and their amazing colours.
New varieties
Beside the 4 focus products we also displayed our new varieties like the Zinnia Elegant™ hot mixture featuring an eye-catching blend of warm orange, pink and red colours. If we talk about colours than the new colour of Pentas Lucky Star® could not be missed. The Violet improved is a faster secondary, has follow up blooming and a deeper and brighter colour intensity than other violet pentas on the market.
Bee-yond pollinators
Along with the flowers, there were lots of bees and butterflies at the FlowerTrials. Bee-friendly flowers and plants are becoming more important. Consumers are placing greater emphasis on sustainability and are deliberately selecting plants that support bees and other pollinators. Panamerican seed showed the Bee-yond program which attracted not only great interest of the human visitors but also from our flying friends.
Vivid colours
Just as important for both bees and consumers are appearance and colours of plants. A great low maintenance plant that provides high colour impact in full sun spaces is Interspecific Impatiens Solarscape®. New colour this year is the Salmon Punch, which offers landscape growers a cost-efficient alternative. Along with new colours of Vinca Pacifica XP and Solarscape® we showed the new Beacon® Impatiens Blue Pearl and Light Pink, unique colours for the high resistance category.
Resistance
As durability is becoming a more and more important feature of plants. Our Beacon® Impatiens is designed to be high resistance to Plasmorpara destructor and is weather-resistant. It is easy to grow and a very versatile product and requires minimal maintenance from consumers. Another plant that is outstanding in hot, dry and sunny conditions is our Vinca Pacifica XP. New colours this year are the Pink and Red Halo.
Of course we would love to see you next year.
