Radiant Spring Trials at PanAmerican Seed®
PanAmerican Seed® in the Netherlands held its yearly Spring Trials from April 28 through May 2. Visitors from all over the world visited our colourful trials.
While most visitors came from Europe, there were also visitors from Kazakhstan, Israel, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan and Canada.
The sun was out, the mood was good, and the plants were looking amazing!
Focus products
Focus products for 2026 are Spreading Pansy Top Wave™, Vinca Titan-ium™, Petchoa Caliburst™ and Interspecific Impatiens Solarscape®.
These were blooming abundantly in the greenhouse. This customer is showing her favourite, NEW Spreading Pansy Top Wave™ Orange.
In addition to the focus products, we highlighted the wide range of successful Wave® Spreading Petunia series with a whole table dedicated to 30 years of Wave. It all started in 1995, when Wave Petunia was discovered from an unlikely source: a breeder for a Japanese beer company noticed a wild petunia growing in their fields. He fine-tuned it, submitted it to All-America Selections trials and won with high honors. Thirty years later, we have Shock Wave®, E3 Easy Wave®, Easy Wave®, Tidal Wave® and the original Wave® series.
Wave® Party
A little Wave celebration took place in the event tent. Customers were welcomed with Wave cakes. There were pink umbrellas, balloons, flowers and the caterer served something pink for lunch every day.
Responses to both the greenhouse and the Wave pink party were all very positive. “It looks so festive,” one customer said, and another: “Your Spring Trials get better and better each year; you have really outdone yourself!”
We are proud to have hosted such an incredible event!
