PanAmerican Seed was excited to showcase our unique vegetables at the recent Great Lakes Expo 2024 (GLExpo) held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States.

Even with a blanket of snow that covered the city, the GLExpo was a great opportunity to engage with both growers and distributors from across North America, most from the Great Lakes area. As the premier event for fruit, vegetable and greenhouse growers, this tradeshow also caters to farm marketers, which is a perfect fit for PanAmerican Seed Vegetables & Herbs.

Highlights from the GLExpo included:

• It was wonderful to hear some of the success stories customers have had with our varieties in the fresh market sector. Lots of talk surrounding Autumn Frost Squash, Chocolate Sprinkles Cherry Tomato, and Heirloom Hybrids like DarkStar Tomato being just a few examples.
• Our Kitchen Minis™ were a hit at the show! Lots of growers, including wholesale, retail and fresh market were drawn to these mini marvels and opportunities for sale. Our brand-new Bonsai Basil was especially popular!
• We were even visited by royalty at the show – the one and only National Cherry Queen stopped by our booth to say hi!
