Rudbeckia Goldblitz Wins Fleuroselect Gold Medal

On a livestream Jan. 27, Fleuroselect announced the names of its 2022 award winners. PanAmerican Seed was proud to accept a Fleuroselect Gold Medal for its Rudbeckia Goldblitz – a new introduction from our Kieft Seed perennials collection.
Goldblitz is a first-year-flowering solution for growers that are unable to reliably finish Rudbeckia Goldsturm under natural growing conditions. Goldblitz does not require special treatment during production, and still delivers the same quality as traditional Goldsturm. In addition, Goldblitz flowers 2-3 weeks earlier, and is more uniform in habit during its first year. Gardeners will love its excellent garden performance.
The Fleuroselect Gold Medal is awarded to new plants that surpass existing varieties in terms of breeding innovation and beauty. For years this award designation has symbolised excellence, and the winners are promoted in the press, at trade fairs, and in display gardens across the world.
