Our longtime collaboration with botanical artist Tu Bloom (Tu Bloom Designs) has really picked up speed this year, specifically with our Wave brand of Spreading Petunias and Cool Wave Pansies. You saw vibrant Wave Petunias as part of his Red Carpet Look at this year's GRAMMY Awards. And we had plenty of fun watching him mix-it-up with Cool Wave Pansies at the Potting Parties of the 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show.

Now Tu Bloom is making "waves" as the cover story for the March issue of GreenProfit Magazine. You can't miss it — the cover is enveloped in that awesome Wave-pink hue we all know and love!

In his cover feature with editor Jennifer Polanz, you'll learn how Tu Bloom started his love for plants. His origin story will feel very familiar to you as well, we're sure!

"As far back as I can remember when I was growing up I was propagating Thai basil from stems, rooting them in water with my mom. We were growing miniature citrus under lighting," he says in the article.

Tu also shares how 16 years ago he got the sweet chance to be The GRAMMY Awards floral artist ... by picking a ripe orange from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Science's fruit tree during a design project (definitely a must-read story!).

We thoroughly enjoy the passion and enthusiasm Tu Bloom Designs has for our industry and flowers & vegetables in general, and we can't wait for more opportunities to see what he can do with our products! But we have to admit, seeing his story (and not just his designs) finally in the spotlight through GreenProfit gives our team the biggest smile!
