A Wave of Colour at Keukenhof: Pansy Top Wave™ in Full Spring Flow
Every spring, Keukenhof becomes a place where colour, creativity and nature come together. This year, visitors are welcomed by a joyful wave of blooms at the entrance—Pansy Top Wave™, grown and supplied by PanAmerican Seed.
Designed to spread beautifully and perform reliably, these pansies are setting the tone for the season and inviting visitors to slow down, look closer and enjoy the sheer energy of spring.
Six Planters, One Big Welcome
For Keukenhof 2026, Pansy Top Wave™ filled six large planters, creating a flowing display full of movement and colour. These planters can be found throughout the park. The plants spread naturally, softening the edges of the planters and delivering the full look gardeners hope for early in the season. It’s a display that feels generous and welcoming—just what visitors expect when stepping into one of the world’s most iconic spring gardens.
Designed to Perform, Built to Inspire
Top Wave™ pansies are known for their spreading habit and strong garden performance. At Keukenhof, they show exactly what they are bred to do:
- Fill space with ease
- Create a connected, flowing look
- Deliver impact from the first moment of spring
For growers and gardeners alike, the display is a reminder that strong genetics make great results look effortless.
Colour That Stays
After Keukenhof closes, the story continues in parts of the Castle Gardens aside Keukenhof. These Castle Gardens will be planted with Interspecific Impatiens Solarscape®, Gaura Sprakle White and Begonia Megawatt™ White, creating a colourful summer backdrop for walks, weddings and family moments.
It’s our way of keeping high-quality genetics visible, accessible and inspiring—long after the gates of Keukenhof close for the season.

Visit, Experience, Enjoy
Whether you’re visiting Keukenhof for inspiration, ideas or simply to enjoy spring at its best, Pansy Top Wave™ is there to welcome you—spreading colour, calm and confidence from the very first step inside.
