Appeltern Plant Festival 2025
Appeltern Plant Festival was a success once again this year! The event organized by Bloemenpark Appeltern is entirely dedicated to plants. This colourful and inspiring weekend took place on Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, 2025, marking the third edition of this unique festival. This year, Bloemenpark Appeltern collaborated with the green association Groei & Bloei to offer visitors an unforgettable experience in the fields of flowers, plants and décor. The theme for 2025 was "Top Picks for the Future."
40 specialized growers
During this weekend, more than 40 specialized growers and green entrepreneurs presented their most beautiful plants and products in the stunning setting of Bloemenpark Appeltern. Visitors had plenty of opportunities to gather inspiration, seek advice and discover new plants.
Innovations from the Plant World!
This year, the Appeltern Plant Festival put the newest plant species in the spotlight. A professional jury and the public evaluated the entries. Many of these beautiful newcomers were already available!
And the Winner Is...
PanAmerican Seed® won no fewer than three prizes during the event:
- Dichondra Silver Falls: This beautiful plant in the category "Golden Oldies" won with a score of 8 out of 10 from the professional jury.
- Petchoa Caliburst™: This plant finished second in the category of annual plants judged by the professional jury and scored a 7.5 out of 10.
- Dahlia Gardenette Velvet Crush: This plant from Florensis/PanAmerican Seed received 69 votes from the public jury.
The plants from PanAmerican Seed have found a lovely spot in the special gardens of Appeltern.
Visitors could and still can, admire these beautiful plants and discover why PanAmerican Seed is the future of the seed-grown plant world.
The Appeltern Plant Festival 2025 was a great success and offered an inspiring glimpse into the future of the plant world.
