Anaheim, California, USA, was the backdrop for the International Fruit and Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce Show this year. Running from Oct. 16-18, 2025, this trade event was abuzz with showy and creative attractions with the biggest names in the produce aisle.

Dylan Sedmak from PanAmerican Seed stands at a trade show booth featuring Kitchen Minis plants.

We featured Kitchen Minis in the Freeman Herbs booth this year. The company grows and ships our tabletop plants to retailers like Trader Joe’s and Costco.

Highlights from the 2025 International Fruit and Produce Association Global Produce Show:

  • PanAmerican Seed teamed up with Freeman Herbs to show off our Kitchen Minis vegetable collection this year at the show. Freeman Herbs grows and sells Kitchen Minis to grocer retailers throughout North America.
  • One of the trends this year at the show was snack-sized produce. Kitchen Minis were a great fit for this trend and retailers who stopped by were excited to start carrying these products in their grocery chains. This means there will be even more chances to pick up a Kitchen Minis vegetable or herb plant at a retailer near you.
  • One of the favourites from the Kitchen Minis display was Bonsai basil – always a crowd pleaser at our industry events. Visitors appreciated that it still has the same great sweet basil fragrance despite its small stature.

We’re looking forward to the coming year. Stay tuned for how we plan to showcase more ways for retailers and consumers to use our Kitchen Minis at the 2026 International Fruit and Produce Association Global Produce Show in Orlando, Florida, USA.
