Walking into this year’s CAST25 PanAmerican greenhouse at our stop in Santa Paula, California, folks were met with many things to explore starting with Beacon Impatiens. Highlighting the series with now 10 colours – it was definitely shining brightly!

With a defined shelving set up, every colour was represented, as well as a special spotlight on our two NEW varieties: Light Pink and Blue Pearl. The display ended with a photo op and highlight of the past year’s charity along with an announcement of our 2025 Charity.

Moving on to the wonderful wall of Wave! To continue the celebration of Wave’s 30th anniversary we dedicated an entire wall within our greenhouse highlighting Wave Day (May 3rd) showcasing our POP options, launching to the industry our Sweepstakes and partnership with world-famous photographer Anne Geddes, and highlighting our 2026 New Varieties.

The response was consistent with excitement throughout all groups. But by far to see the reaction on customers faces when they learned about the partnership and the sweepstakes with Anne Geddes, will be moments I will never forget.

During the event I had the opportunity to view part of the print that Anne is working on for us for Wave Petunias, and it’s GORGEOUS! With her on my screen, not many knew but I ran her out into the middle of the crowd to share the setup, she was beyond excited to see it as well.

Moving to our spice rack, this year we were able to bring the heat showcasing a full assortment of our coleus, highlighting our new Sweet Paprika™ Coleus. Our product manager Marcus Jansen was definitely cooking something with every presentation.

Solarscape® Interspecific Impatiens was highlighted with a dramatic before-and-after, larger-than-life display, via a vertical blind structure that could be opened and closed showing how rebound-ready Solarscape can be.

Prior to exiting our greenhouse this year, we also highlighted some of our greatest hits in mono and combo pots. It was a great reminder that there are options from PanAmerican Seed that fit almost every need.

Sunny Displays Outdoors

Outside, customers were greeted with the debut of a new variety, Top Wave™ Pansy, with a display that brought them straight to the top. With eight colours, this new pansy was the talk the of the trip! Part of the Wave Pansies family, Top Wave was also brightly featured in surrounding landscape at the event.

As customers continued their journey, they were able to view the new Dart™ Dianthus colour, additions to the Sow Fast. Grow Fast.™ program, vegetable highlights, a display highlighting the extensive line of Echinacea – because PanAmerican Seed is always in the game!

Also with the new pollinator addition in inspired solutions, we launched the Bee-yond Pollinator program. It is a curated collection of perennials that decrease labor, provide environmental advantages, and cost savings.

If you made the trek up the coast, we appreciate you coming to see us! For those of you who were unable to travel to Santa Paula, we are happy to provide you with two virtual tours for exploring our amazing and educational displays.
