Premium Sun Coleus Coral Candy by PanAmerican Seed was named for a 2023 All-America Selections National Award.
It is the first seed coleus ever to win this coveted designation! With its modern color and bold, unique pattern, there’s no denying its show-stopping performance in landscapes and full-sun containers.
Coral Candy Coleus thrives through relative humidity and features a mounded habit with a height of 10 to 16 in./25 to 41cm. Judges commended its long-lasting color in trial evaluations with “only minor fading when in full sun.” They also admired its tidy plant habit, saying, “Leaves are vibrant on a very, tight, densely leaved plant.”
This plant offers versatility in both in-ground plantings and as a front-border foliage, and will do well in patio pots and containers. Just three seeds will produce enough substance to fill a 14 to 16-in. decorative pot.
The striking color of Coral Candy really caught the eye of PanAmerican Seed Product Manager Robin Ruether during the development phase. Many thanks to her, as it was her excitement for this plant that propelled it forward into the nation-wide trials, and ultimately made it a winner with All America Selection judges.
