New 9-pack makes selling Shock Wave simple
WEST CHICAGO, IL – First, there was the now-infamous “Pretty Pink Pot.” Next came pink premium 6-packs and trays, 20-in. pots and even hanging baskets. Now, there’s a new way to use the famous “Wave-pink” color to grow and sell Wave® petunias: the new 9-cell pack, developed specifically for use with the new Shock Wave™ series.
“The 9-pack provides a perfect way to set Shock Wave petunias apart at retail,” says Kristin Ludwig, Marketing Manager for Wave petunias. “Having distinct packaging forms tailored to the different Wave products not only gives consumers more options for purchasing Wave – all easy to spot in their unique pink color – but also allows garden centers to differentiate each series on the retail bench.”
For 2008, Wave petunias will be supported by a complete, integrated consumer marketing experience with the central goal of motivating gardeners to look for Wave in pink packaging at retail. The new 9-pack, as well as the full range of Wave-pink packaging options, will help growers take advantage of this new promotional campaign.
