Think Pink With Ride The Wave® Petunias
Petunia Particulars

Petunias are annuals, meaning they complete their life cycle in one year, lasting only during the growing season. All Petunias like full-sun locations with a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight.

Since Ride The Wave Petunias like to spread, planting them in a garden bed or large container is the best way to give them room to “stretch out.” Included in the Ride The Wave brand are three different series – Wave®, Easy Wave® and Tidal Wave® - each with distinctly different plant shapes, or habits.

Wave:
This series features pretty Petunias that grow and spread close to the ground. Wave spreads out the most of the three, covering up to 4 ft. (1.2 m) across! It reaches a garden height of 4 to 6 in. (10 to 15 cm) and comes in the award-winning colors of Blue, Lavender and Purple, along with Misty Lilac, Pink and Rose.

Easy Wave:
The Easy Wave series spreads, too, but grows more into a dense mound of colorful blooms. It spreads about 2.5 to 3 ft. (75 to 90 cm) across and grows 6 to 12 in. (15 to 30 cm) high. Color choices are Red, Blue, Pink, Salmon, Shell Pink and White.

Tidal Wave:
It’s not called Tidal Wave for nothing! This Petunia series grows the tallest with a “hedge” of flowers flowing over the plant. Tidal Wave Petunias grow 16 to 22 in. (40 to 55 cm) tall and spread 2.5 to 4 ft. (75 cm to 1.2 m). Keep in mind that height and spread depends on how close you plant them. Remember to tell your customers that if they want a large, mounded plant, to place them a minimum of 12 in. (30 cm) apart. For a plant that spreads lower to the ground, place each Tidal Wave Petunia up to 24 in. (60 cm) apart. Colors include the award-winning Silver, plus Cherry, Hot Pink and Purple.

Pay close attention to the plant tag as it serves as a guide for each series – especially height and spread information.
